Welcome to Therapy For You Counseling Services - I'm so glad you're here! My name is Shelby, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and fierce mental health advocate. I partner with my clients to develop unique, individualized therapy goals that encompass the whole person. If you are looking for a therapist who will work as your “teammate” to address problems and find solutions surrounding conflict, then you’ve found the right therapist!
As a therapist, I take an integrative and client-centered approach, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals. I draw from a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, including motivational interviewing to support meaningful change, reality therapy to build accountability and choice, solution-focused counseling to highlight strengths and practical next steps, and trauma-informed care to ensure safety, trust, and compassion throughout the healing process.
I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, caregiving stress, chronic illness, autism spectrum disorder, substance use concerns, and cancer-related challenges. My goal is to create a calm, supportive space where you feel empowered, understood, and equipped with tools to move forward with confidence.
All sessions will be conducted virtually to allow you to connect with your licensed therapist from the comfort of your own home. When life gets busy, enjoy the convenience of receiving support from your personal safe space. Our teletherapy sessions are secure, private, and convenient.
